Spitfire model in 1:24 from Trumpeter

This line of plastic model kits from China are absolutely world class! The big 1:24 scale Spitfire shown above has nine sprues of amazingly crisp detailed parts, complete with excellently done recessed panel lines. Gun covers open, all flaps and control surfaces work. There are three beautiful resin pilot figures to choose from, a film instrument panel, photo etched and metal aileron and flap parts with rubber tires and other engine parts. 233 plastic parts. Two of the engine cover panels are clear, so the engine can be seen inside...or they can be painted, if desired. These kits are recommended for advanced modellers.
