MUIRKIRK AIR SHOW
This was a wonderful little grass roots air show, complete
with dirt strip, held annually on the Spence Family farm near Chatham, Ontario.
An eclectic assortment of warbirds and others would always be there.
Unfortunately, it became too expensive to maintain and was discontinued a few
years ago.

Mosquito, Hurricane, Spitfire and Lancaster at the
Hamilton Airshow in 1990, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the battle
of Britain. The Hurricane and Spitfire were both later lost in a fire. |
