aviation pictures......whether photos, paintings or drawings. If you have some
wartime pictures you'd like to see here...send them too. We're starting off
with some of ours, but we invite anyone to e-mail us their favorite images and,
if it's good...we'll post it. Be sure to include the name of the author and a
few details, so we

Over Pensacola, Florida, in 1970. Andrew
Wells, as a U.S. Marines pilot put over 700 happy hours on this
aircraft in '70-'71. This machine is apparently now on a pedestal in
Milton, Florida, near Pensacola.

MUIRKIRK AIR SHOW
This was a wonderful little grass roots air show, complete with
dirt strip, held annually on the Spence Family farm near Chatham,
Ontario. An eclectic assortment of warbirds and others would always
be there. Unfortunately, it became too expensive to maintain and was
discontinued a few years ago.
FAIREY SWORDFISH - Lance Russwurm
This example is the only Swordfish in airworthy condition in
North America. It was lovingly restored by Bob Spence, the host of
the airshow.

Held at Hamilton International Airport, Mount Hope, Ontario,
Canada....home of the Hamilton Warplane Heritage Museum
UNIQUE FORMATION - Ray Whittemore
Mosquito, Hurricane, Spitfire and Lancaster at the Hamilton
Airshow in 1990, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the battle of
Britain. The Hurricane and Spitfire were both later lost in a fire.
