Amazing scale paper models by Ken Uhrig!
If you hadn't read the text, would you have guessed that the aircraft shown above is made totally out of PAPER?? (well.....except for the canopy - on this prototype, it is made from vacu-formed plastic.) We have a bunch hanging in our store, and no one ever guesses what they are made of, until they are told. Elaborate Paper models of buildings, aircraft, ships etc. have long been popular abroad, but are little known in North America...we seem to desire more instant gratification. Ours are all produced by a master model builder in our town named Ken Uhrig. For years he has done amazing custom scratchbuilt aircraft models for discerning collectors. Lately he has developed this line of aircraft kits printed on paper. True, they take a bit of work to build, but the end product is something totally unique that you can be proud of. And, you'll never tire of seeing the look on people's faces when they discover what material they are made from. See the list below for the paper model kits we have available.
