In 1945 the de Havilland Aircraft Company decided to produce a film of the Mosquito's development and operational service called simply "THE MOSQUITO". A film which has become unique in its own right. Here you see the concept behind the Mosquito: its design, development, construction, and operational service, with much action footage.

The Mosquito was produced in almost 50 different versions and in all of these it excelled, whether it was a bomber, fighter-bomber, day or night fighter, or as a photo-reconnaissance aircraft. A remarkable film about a remarkable aircraft.
